7-Stage Manufacturing Architecture

Precision Begins with the Rough.

Every client-supplied rough is planned and processed according to the required shape, size, proportions, and clarity. Explore the technical progression from raw octahedral crystal to finished polished diamond.

STAGE 01 OF 07

Rough Planning

Each client-supplied rough is evaluated and planned according to the required shape, size, proportions, and clarity targets. Advanced 3D scanning and optical analysis are deployed to maximize yield and value.

  • High-resolution 3D rough inclusion mapping
  • Tension and grain direction profiling
  • Targeted yield & clarity optimization

The Complete Manufacturing Protocol

A stage-by-stage overview of how client rough is systematically handled at our Surat facility.

STAGE 01

Rough Planning

Every rough parcel received is weighed and laser-scanned to model internal stress axes and inclusions. Planning simulations establish the optimal yield balancing shape, carat, and clarity requirements.

STAGE 02

Laser Sawing

Advanced green-wavelength lasers section the diamond rough with micron kerf width, eliminating structural cleaving risks and isolating inclusions while safeguarding planned crystal mass.

STAGE 03

Blocking

The cross-worker shapes the table, culet, 4 crown facets, and 4 pavilion facets. This stage sets the fundamental optical balance and primary proportions of the diamond.

STAGE 04

Making

The diamond progresses through precision making, calibrating crown angle, pavilion depth, and table percentage according to the client's cut and proportion blueprint.

STAGE 05

8X Cutting

Specialized cutting that achieves Hearts & Arrows symmetry, pristine facet meets, and zero light leakage, ensuring exceptional brilliance across round and fancy shapes.

STAGE 06

Polishing

Conducted on dynamically balanced scaife laps with microscopic dop positioning. Master artisans bring each facet to an optical mirror finish with zero drag lines or heat burns.

STAGE 07

Final Quality Control

Every finished gem is inspected under binocular gemological microscopes and laser measurement systems to verify exact millimeter dimensions, clarity grade (FL to I2), and polish quality.
